Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks is an American actress best known for her performance as Joan Holloway in the seven seasons of period drama on AMC Mad Men (2007-2015). The show earned her six Emmy nominations, including best supporting actress and deserved praise from critics. Since her time in the industry which spans over two decades she has also become known for her work on the legal-drama Kevin Hill comedy series Another Period crime-drama series Tin Star and comedy-crime series Good Girls. Her voice is featured in films like Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River and the Neon Demon, The Strangers : Prey at Night Egg, and American Woman. The voice actress also played the role of characters in films like Toy Story 4 Scoob!, Toy Story 4: Up on Poppy Hill as well as From Up on Poppy Hill. Before becoming acting, she enjoyed an established career as a model. The show gave her her first recognizable part as a character on the comedy series Beggars and Choosers. Following her appearance, she received praise for her performance in Firefly. Esquire magazine awarded her the title of sexiest as well as most attractive American woman of the year 2010 as part of their annual poll.
