Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian actor and TV host. Her most well-known work is the protagonist of Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control as well as Rush. Alexandra was the sole child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. At the age of 16she already secured a number of TV roles such as the lead role in Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. The critically acclaimed character she played in the television movie Der Tunnel, Alexandra went further to take on other memorable role like Adolf's secretary, Traudljunge, as well as the secretary of Adolf Hitler in Downfall. It won an Oscar and received critical acclaim. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are other Oscar nominated films that feature female stars.
